Gareth Williams

Gareth Williams has almost 20 years of experience in the field of mental health and wellbeing, working with adults, children and young people, and families.

Gareth's approach is rooted in mindfulness, acceptance and compassion. Originally trained in person-centred experiential therapy, he then went on to become a student of Arnold Mindell's Process-Oriented Psychology for almost a decade. 

Following this, Gareth undertook a 2 year integrative training at the University of Manchester.  For the past few years he has been training in mindfulness-based interventions, 3rd wave CBT approaches (in particular, ACT and CFT) and developing a holistic understanding of bodymind healing. 

As well as having a private practice, he currently teaches on the University of Manchester doctorate in counselling psychology and has been supervising counsellors and therapists for 7 years.
